Kurt
Warner vs. The New York Giants Defense

I believe what we saw last season from Kurt Warner was an aberration and Warner will return to his MVP form of 2001 when he led the Rams to the Super Bowl.
However, opening the season on the road in New York will be a difficult task.
Did you forget the Giants' last game was that playoff match up vs. the 49ers where the defense blew a 24 point lead?
I know they didn’t so they are going to be fired up!
Another reason why Warner could struggle is that this game is outside on grass. Warner and company excel on the speedy turf so the timing of their routes will be off a little. The Rams’ offense also struggles against defensive lines that can put pressure on Warner without having to blitz.
The Giants are one of those teams. They have sacked Warner a total of 7 times in the team’s last two meetings.
I’m not telling you to bench Warner but don’t be surprised if he doesn’t have a big game. I can hear those Warner bashers now if the Rams begin the season 0-1.
