2006 NFL Strength of Schedule Rankings - Regular Season Passing Defense

Your Players Are Only As Good as Their Defensive Match-ups

Every fantasy football season, the one aspect that most owners overlook at draft time is a player’s strength of schedule. This statistic can help identify which players will have an easy road in 2006, and which will have an uphill climb.

Analyzing the weekly match-ups is critical when drafting quarterbacks, receivers and tight ends, so the teams below are ranked by how many passing yards their 2006 opponents gave up on average each week in 2005. We've also totaled their match-ups against the best and worst passing defenses.

These rankings are based strictly upon their opponents' defensive rankings, not the team's ability in the passing game.
